When life hits a turning point, it's hard to remain positive.
Change puts us out of our schedule.
Working full time school while being a full time student has done some damage to my mental health.
This semester has caused me a lot of breakdowns but I'm so proud of what I've been able to accomplish.
I know myself and I have learned of just how much I am capable of.
Through my chaotic lifestyle this semester, I've observed that I did get too wrapped up in my goals and my never-ending 'to-do' list. I'm not proud of how self-absorbed I became.
So...
I'm going to change that.
I want to change the way I live my life.
I want to be healthier and more aware.
Aware of my life in the present instead of constantly chasing goals.
With the free time that summer allows, I am on a mission:
How to be Happy:
1. Exercise
Respect your body so you can better respect yourself.
My plan: Run- Pound your stress, emotions, and overanalyzing thoughts into the pavement
Yoga- Restore your body and rebuild with self loving breaths and montras
2. Meditate
Escape from the present through the exploration of erasing
Reconnect with yourself
3. Educate
Fuel your mind with podcasts and books
4. Socialize
Make a friendships a priority and share love
5. Soul
Express yo'self through art-making
